Tablet/digital notebook for university
Hey guys,
i am an engineering student in Germanyy and I am looking for a tablet which I will only use to take notes, because I want to get rid of all the annyoing paper stuff.
Right now, in all my courses, we use scripts which are more or less a 'cloze text'. There are gaps for drawings, calculations, etc.
We can also get the scripts as PDF files, therefore, I am looking for a tablet which can read and annotate PDF files.
I would also prefer a tablet, which gives me the feeling of actually writing on paper. It should also have the size of a A5-A4 paper.
During my little research, I found some interesting tablets, but all of them does not really match to my 'perfect tablet':
- The Boogie Board. Unfortunately, the Boogie Board is not able to open PDF's and show them on the screen.
- The Asus EA800 (Eee-Note). Unfortunataly, I read that the EA800 has problems with the annotation-function (if you understand German: Asus Eee Note EA-800 im Test (3/4): Groteske Märchen » neuerdings.com)
- The Aiptek MyNote Premium II. To my mind, this tablet isn't able to open PDF's as well, isn't it?
I imagine a tablet which is more or less like the "NoteSlate":
($99 iPad rival NoteSlate: Not quite real, not quite fake - Feb. 25, 2011)
I was pretty mad when I read that the NoteSlate does not really exist.
So I hope you got an impression what I am looking for, and I would be really, really thankful if you come up with some ideas!!

Re: Tablet/digital notebook for university
Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet and Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 come to mind, but I'm not sure if those are exactly what you are looking for.
