Re: What business Slate tablet should i buy
If you're going android and need a pen, your options are fairly limited. The thinkpad is a decent option but a lot of us with NTrig pens (like the thinkpad has) would opt for a wacom pen in our next slate. The NTrig pen design is prone to static interference and the mechanism seems to degrade fairly rapidly. I know that Samsung was on your disfavored list, but the upcoming 10" Galaxy Note will have a wacom pen and looks like the better option ATM. There is also the HTC flyer but it has limited inking capability.
Let us know how you like whatever you decide to get.Fujitsu Q552 | 10" WXGA IPS (1280 x 800) | N2600 @ 1.6ghz x2 | 2GB DDR2 | 64GB SSD | 4 Cell 38Whr | N-Trig V-3.5 | CONTEMPLATING RETIREMENT AS A MARINE CHARTPLOTTER!

Re: What business Slate tablet should i buy
By NOT Windows 7 or IOS, do you mean you want Android? Or an older version of Windows (XP, etc...)?

I have both the Lenovo ThinkPad Tablet (Android, N-Trig) and X201T (Win 7, Wacom) and have to admit that N-Trig had surprised me for its superior accuracy in compare with wacom on the X201T. However, sensitivity level is much more inferior, but it won't be a problem if inking is your only concern.
Still, I have no idea about N-Trig degration rate since I've just got the device for a couple of months.Last edited by cleft; 04-15-2012 at 07:59 AM.
