Best tablet for its buck?

I know a lot of people have joined to ask something of this nature. I currently have a Lenovo G555 laptop and am contemplating to sell this for a tablet. I would love a tablet something of this nature.

1. What is your budget?

$350 or as cheap as possible.

2. Would you consider purchasing used/refurbished?

Either one is fine. Craigslist is fine too.

3. Do you prefer a Slate, Convertible or Ultra Mobile PC (UMPC)?

Convertible.

4. What size Tablet PC would you prefer?

Mainstream ~ 12.1"
Large ~ 13.3"

5. Which country do you intent to purchase from?

United States.

6. Do you have any preferences to brand loyalty or dislikes?

Nope.

7. How many hours battery life do you require?

Standard 6 hours is fine.

8. What will be the primary usage scenario of this tablet? (Email/Web Surfing/Drawing/Word Processing/Entertainment/Notetaking etc)

Windows (XP, Vista, or 7 is fine)

Nope (would be nice though but not necessarily)

The Asus EEepad slider, A android based tablet that is a convertible, slide out keyboard and touch screen, price varies 300-600$ US

Sony Tablet S, A android based tablet that only has touch screen but is cheaper with a lot of features and is Cnets number 2.

Now with your software side, Android has a variety of word processing software, also they do have photoshop on android because I just downloaded on my phone.

I see you are hinting you want a Windows based tablet, the problem is all the windows ones are really expensive.

Battery life are reportedly good on both of the above tablets 5-6+ hours.

I'm not "hinting" that I want Windows based but that is the requirement since taking notes as well as playing League of Legends requires Windows based system.

I'm sorry but I would disagree with that. I have found many tablets that runs windows and can play lower end games - I'm not talking about a "gaming" tablet.

At $350 you are going to have a hard time finding a good Windows Tablet PC, the only one in that price range, the HP 2730p, it performs well, has good components (Core 2 Duo -overclockable with use of a Dual IDA modded BIOS- and Intel GMA4500 MHD GPU) and a very well designed and built case overall, with a good screen standard... and even then $350 is pushing it, you will likely only find a mostly complete, or a not-so good condition 2730p for $350

At $500 or so your options open up to a lot more: HP 2730p, Lenovo X200 tablet, Fujitsu T4410 & T5010 (13.3"), Motion Computing F5 & LE1700 and a few others (but those aren't really worth mentioning because of severely lacking quality; the HP Tm2 is one of these, while it has a moderately decent ATI GPU, the rest of the system is crap, especially the quality control and the screen!)... these all have the same Wacom pen system standard (highly accurate, 256 levels of pressure sensitivity [way more than enough for it to be smooth], is sensed above the screen before it touches the screen, has an eraser end and side buttons you can modify -because of the pressure sensitivity, tracking and accuracy, nothing else on the market anywhere even comes close to its performance for notes, hand writing and more), and all but the 2730p, and F5 have optional multi-touch screens in addition to the pen system

I'm not sure how they will handle League of Legends (never played it), but my 2730p is quite capable of everything but gaming: Autocad 3D modeling and rendering, pretty heavy photoshop use, note taking in One Note of the built in Journal, tons of multi-tasking and super-multi-tabbed web browsing (easily 75+ tabs no problem )... its a very capable machine, especially when upgraded some, and it can do a tiny bit of gaming on its own (older games do better ovbiously, I think the most 'advanced' games that run sorta well are the free "Combat Arms", and I think Lost Planet did alright) but with a eGPU it is significantly more capable (though it is cumbersome, expensive, and not as good as something with a built in dedicated GPU)
