Tablet PC support for 2560 x 1600 external
I need a high-end tablet along the lines of the T900, 2740P etc
Searching the internets though I have yet to fine a solution to the biggest problem, it seems all the integrated graphics cards don't support the resolution of my external monitor. I need support for 2560 x 1600. From what I've read the i7 620m's (what I want) integrated GPU can support that resolution with a "displayport" but none of them seem to have it.
Does anyone here know of a docking station for a 620m tablet PC that has this port? Are their any work around's for this? I'm pretty set on the T900, I just need a way to connect it to my 30 inch and get it's native res, perhaps some external GPU solution or something? Anyone? Thx

Re: Tablet PC support for 2560 x 1600 external
2560x1600 requires dual-link DVI. That's something generally found only on discrete, high-end graphics cards, none of which you find in Tablet PCs. (Even the HP tm2's ATI Mobility HD Radeon 4550 or 5450 is pretty weak sauce in the grand scheme of things.) I really think that's sad in the case of the Fujitsu T900, because if it's anything like its predecessor (the T5010), I'd totally have my eyes set on that with dedicated graphics. It's not like there isn't enough physical space, if the HP tm2 could get even an entry-level dedicated GPU in a smaller package...
I don't know if HDMI has the required bandwidth, since it caters more to television standards which currently max out at 1920x1080p. DisplayPort definitely would, but I haven't seen DisplayPort on any Tablet PC models yet.
...Wait, I just realized something-if it has an ExpressCard slot, you could set up a sort of DIY ViDock and plug a graphics card with dual-link DVI into that, then have that drive your 30" 2560x1600 monitor! I highly doubt you'll be moving that monitor much, if at all, so such a solution could work.
