I got 2.5 hours on the HP the one time I drained it to 10%. It weights about 5 pounds, has a really sparkly looking screen but the biggest flaw was it ran hot. I took it back. I haven't tried the Fujitsu but from everything I've read its miles better.

Re: HP TX2z vs Fujitsu T4310 (And others?)
The t4310 is better for its battery life (about 4-5 hours) and heat management because of its Intel Processor. Plus, it uses a modular bay system so adding a 2nd battery won't add to physical dimensions (the tx2's high capacity battery sticks out the back).
They both have a digitizer and a multitouch layer so that's a tie. However I believe the t4310 has a better screen as the tx2 has been called 'milky'.
If you want to run games then the tx2 will run COD4 at low settings 800x600 decently, the t4310 won't run it at all. Also, IMO the t4310 is just plain ugly.
Overall I would focus on being productive and get the t4310.

Re: HP TX2z vs Fujitsu T4310 (And others?)
I bought it the week Windows 7 came out. It was hot, it did cool down after some windows up dates but it was still hot. So much so even using aim chat would have a little delay when chatting on.
The other guy is right screen does have a milky, sparkly look to it. However the handwriting/inking was very good on it. I even trained it to read my chicken scratch. However, it was to hot to put on your lap, the vent blew hot air right out where your arm would be. If you flip the other way, the power cored would press into your stomach. I just found it very bad design and it was thick and heavy.
Another good thing is it had a great keyboard. I think its one of the best laptop keyboards I've felt in a while. It just had to many short comings. I don't want a five pound tablet. Go light as possible with a tablet. If I was just using it as a laptop it would be more forgivable.

Now, prove me wrong if you'd like, but with more heat bring more fan activity, and in a quiet room trying to listen to an instructor brings more aggravation from others... now i dont know about the tx2 or any tablet for that matter yet since mines still on its way... but i'd perfer productivity than angry peers...

I wouldn't count on it. If you do a search you'll hear a lot of complaints about how this laptop stutters or freezes. Its like a little pause or delay even running simple programs like chat. Type then your words show up five seconds later. This is because the heat was killing its performance.
The fan stayed on. When I powered it up for the first time it ran at high none stop. Once I did some updates the noise quieted down but the heat problem remained. When I packed up, I wiped my information off before I returned it to best buy. When she pulled it out of the box 20 minutes later she was surprised the bottom was still warm.
Unless you plan to crack it open and mod it to control the heat I wouldn't touch it. Heat killed a laptop I had before which is why I won't mess with a hot one now.
