Here is what can satisfy me. 17" multi touch. http://gizmodo.com/5408625/dells-stu...-starts-at-800

Seems to meet your needs and good find.

For others, note that it's not actually a tablet (screen doesn't rotate or flip-over and no pen input) but rather a large laptop with multitouch input.

Great as a laptop, not without its problems as a tablet. I'm typing from one as I write this and I will tell you, I have been mostly satisfied with it, but it is also my first tablet (which I am actually looking to replace with a Fujitsu because I want multitouch). The digitizer really doesn't work great; accuracy is good but I have a problem with it registering marks/clicks when the pen isn't touching the screen. You get used to it but I feel that there has to be something better out there.

I've had that Gateway -- if you get it set up right it can be decent. But, I would keep looking
