How big is your biggest SD card? If it is near 1 GB, you should be able to use any of the linux Live CD distros. If it is 512 MB or less, you'll need to look into some of the mini-CD distros (I think there's even one named TinyLinux). Wikipedia has a good, comprehensive table of Linux distributions, including those with bootable CDs and the general features of each.
Formatting:
I'd start by downloading the Toshiba Bootable SD formatter from the Toshiba Vista support site. It might be as simple as running that utility, and copying the extracted files from a bootable Linux ISO. |
