This worked on the M700-S7005v model.

    Step 1:

Uninstall the drivers for wacom currently (by default there will be only one, wacom dual touch).

Note: When uninstalling drivers make sure you check the option to delete drivers from your system always.

    Step 2:

Delete all temporary files in 2 locations:
    1. windows/temp
    2. users/<username>/app data/local/temp

    Step 3:

Download this driver and install here.

    Step 4:

Reboot computer and then uninstall all wacom drivers except the dual touch wacom driver.

    Step 5:

Ensure the services section (type in msconfig in the bottom search bar on the start menu and go to services section, select hide all microsoft services) There should be 2 wacom services running, one called wtouch and the other called tabletservicepen.

    Step 6:

After checking reboot again, then after reboot install the toshiba driver here.

    Step 7:

Reboot one more time and now you should have touch/pen and pressure sensitivity working.

The trick here is the tabletservicepen service it alone enables the pressure sensitivity. However you cannot have both pen/touch and pressure working by installing either the drivers from windows, wacom or toshiba alone. It has to be a combination of the two (wacom, toshiba).

Please keep in mind some steps could be omitted, but this is the way I figured this out and you might be able to cut a few corners. Just wanted to ensure I put in my process that worked well for me.

I hope this helps out anyone who needs it.

There may have been a new driver out that works better but we never really know until someone tries it with the same configuration as us. So try away with the latest (Aug. 8, 2010) Wacom pressure-sensitivity driver: http://www.wacom.com/U/drivers/Table...uch_701-4b.exe.

This driver is having problems with pen calibration. It seems not to support portrait mode, all axis are screwed as you are in secondary landscape. I reccomend not to install it unless you prefere panning to pen inking.

I would just like to clarify Step 1 and Step 4. I am using Win 7 x86

Step 1: Uninstall all drivers related to Touch or Pen or Wacom via the Control Panel -> Programs -> Programs and Features. Check in the Device Manager and make sure in the Human Interface Device tab that there are no Touch or Pen or Wacom drivers visible. Uninstalling them from the Control Panel should have taken care of everything

Step 2 and Step 3 are the same as above

Step 4: Uninstall the drivers from the Device Manager and leave only the one called Wacom Touch Hid Driver (or something similar to that). For me there were 2 Virtual Touch drivers so make sure those 2 are uninstalled and the box for deleting the files is also checked.

After everything, I tested OneNote 2010 and pressure sensitivity worked. Paint doesn't support Sensitivity maybe but there are much better programs for drawing. I haven't tried PhotoShop yet but guessing from OneNote, PhotoShop should work. Hope this helps clarify some things and good to all!!

    Necropost! Question,

When I get to step 4, I don't have the duo touch driver. (I uninstalled it during step one, was the pen tablet driver supposed to have a new copy?)

So at this point I have limited touch capability, well I guess I just don't have normal touch screen features, but I can use my finger like a mouse. So I can interact with scrollbars, buttons, icons, etc. But I can't just scroll by sliding a finger across the screen or no flicks etc.

I also have pressure in Photoshop at this point! woo hoo...

But I'm not sure what to do next?

I hope people still read these threads!

I bought a Toshiba M700 three months ago and it worked beautifully up until about a week ago, when suddenly the pressure sensitivity stopped working in Photoshop. It was literally working one minute, then no longer working the next. I know the pressure sensitivity is still working overall (such as the tablet write-in panel) so it's not a hardware issue.

I tried going through the steps in this thread, but when I got to step 4, I didn't see a "dual touch wacom driver" installed anywhere in the device manager or in Programs and Features. I went through the rest of the steps anyway, and it didn't fix the problem.

I've also tried doing a System Restore to an earlier point when it was still working, and that didn't fix it either. Toshiba's help line said it was Wacom's problem, and Wacom said it was Toshiba's. I'm at a loss for what to try next. Anyone have any ideas?
