hi, i have a m400 so it does not come with a dummy weight saver for the dvd drive

got myself a HDD ultraslim bay but have not decided to add an additional hard drive yet, but want to just slip it in as a weight saver so i do not accidentally press the dvd eject button while drawing in portrait mode.

but if i insert the bay with no hard drive in it, POST takes along time to detect the 2nd hd to finally decide that it has no 2nd and continue to boot. is there a way to set it up so that it will bypass checking the HD on the slimselect bay?
