No way, do you think it'll be back soon? I'm on a time constraint and am looking for the perfect laptop within a month.

    $1299 @ B&H seem like a good deal, IMHO:

    RAM and SSD are replaceable.
The Pen control panel is as cutomizable as the Standard Wacom one. No weird pen hacks needed!
    Express keys..
Pen has no cursor lag, as HP released updated driver.
HP offers up to 5 years warranty coverage, the device is built like a tank.

Technically replaceable, but who's actually going to attempt it?

True, it might be challenging. HP does provide directions, so no guessing.

In comparison to all the alternatives, IMHO the Book, has more end-user friendly and unique options.

I agree, and I'm definitely interested in trying one, but I'd also want to potentially upgrade and I'm not sure I want to attempt it and void the warranty if I screw up.

Can you use a Wacom Pro Pen 2 on these? Or a 3D pen? I see these pens only have 1 button, so I wanted to make sure if I could swap them.

No, you can't. Those pens are not interchangeable with the HP pen, which is Wacom tablet pc EMR. The Pro Pen 2 is Cintiq (and Mobile Studio) tech.

If you want two buttons (but no eraser), your best bet is a Dell Canvas pen. Older EMR pens (e.g. Fujitsu Lifebook pens) that had two buttons AND an eraser would work, but it wouldn't work as well. In all these cases, you would need to recalibrate the pen and would likely lose tilt as well.

Thanks for letting me know - would the pro pen 2 nibs work at least? I know this comes with felt tip nibs and wasn't sure how to get replacements for them. I just ordered a zBook x2 to replace my MobileStudio Pro and I'm so excited!
