I agree, Dani: HP is on the right track. Lenovo had the Thinkpad P40 workstation which didn't seem to get people as excited as this HP does.

Found a few new videos going over setup of zbook

    Set up zbook

Hp create control panel is what they are calling Wacom customizing interface

    Bluetooth keyboard setup
This one shows a protective bumper that I would like to see for sale. Check it at 1:49

I was hoping to have my zbook by now. Shipped 2/28 but unfortunately it is being held up by customs in China.:(:(:(

Availability supposedly started in December. I looked back through the thread, but I don't see any comments that suggest that anyone has an X2 in hand...

Did anyone order one of these? @dv8nathan ??

    Does anyone have one...???

Yes I ordered on the 11th of February. Custom build. Was sent out on the 28th and was supposed to be in hand on the 7th.

Many frustrated calls later I was informed that we have to wait for customs to clear it.

YouTuber Miguel quilles has the 8th gen and promised a revised review soon but for now I'm just impatiently waiting.....

HP does show several of the 8th Gen quad core models as in-stock...?

I am on the fence between this and the Acer Switch 7.

Is a better battery, build, more ports, express keys worth +$1000?

Having it built by HP is a bonus, as they will likely have better customer support...

I personally lost steam on the switch 7.

To many questions unanswered and zbook was ready for order first.

I felt uneasy with their campaign and feared possible poor support. I don't believe I will regret not getting the AS7, but if I got the AS7 instead of the Zbook I know I would be wondering about dedicated Wacom pen drivers, wireless backlit keyboard, 32g ram, and the difference in battery size....well I don't even have it yet so TBD.

    Great points.

Yeh, proper pen drivers, and proper tech support it important...looking at you Samsung!

A great feature of Macbook Pro, it just how physically durable they are, plus the excellent Apple support. Seems that this HP might have that in common....?

Even though I'm not pleased with the delay in shipping, hp responded and followed through to get me answers

his feedback feels mostly possitive in the areas that im concerned with. his issues with floppy keyboard (surface pro line), back light bleed (Msp had this as well), and of course windows OS is minor in my opinion to the rest of the experience i expect to have. nice find though, thankyou
