It is my understanding that the zbook x2 has Tilt support, but not rotation.
So this one is the dream machine of this time around
If priced accordingly, then yes

Hmm. If you're a marketing exec and you want to show your product is superior in every way to the competition, simply don't mention all the ways it's not.
That's why I am so surprise to find such a comparison from Hp
Has it been confirmed were not going to see a 1799$$ version of this?
In slight fairness they are comparing it more directly to the Surface Book 1 and the Surface Pro. Quite likely they weren't outright aware of the Book 2's GPU bump when they were designing the Zbook. (But in fairness....HP should have anticipated such a rather logical move and speced the Zbook accordingly) And the way they word it is more that it has the benefit of a proper GPU in keyboard-less tablet form factor. The Acer Switch 7 aside, most Tablets in the Surface Pro form factor of keyboard cover and kickstand....don't have discrete graphics....and tablets like the Yoga and Book2 require the heftier keyboard base as part of the equation to use the graphics.
My point isn't that HP marketing is dishonest and they neglected to mention all the downsides of its own device in the comparison, and didn't compare it against a better device. It's that using that information to suggest that "it wins all the specs" is wrong.
It's a great product, but if they keep trying to market it as a Surface Pro alternative they're not going to sell. Nobody in the market for a Surface Pro will ever consider a 4.7 lbs tablet.
I Wonder if they still state you need to have the keyboard cover attached for the discrete graphics to work...
