Forgot to mention! Yesterday, I received nVidia and Intel graphics updates via Windows Update.

    Both updates installed without issue...

Anyone else have an issue with their zbook waking up when attached to the HP Thunderbolt Dock? My zbook x2 sometimes won't wake up after going to sleep with the HP Thunderbolt G2 dock attached. The dock is powering two monitors. If I detach the dock and hit the power button on the zbook, then it will (hopefully) wake up normally, but if the dock is attached I have to power reset the zbook. Sometimes I'm afraid it won't turn back on!

Still using my ZBook X2! Still hoping for a new modern tablet to replace this Unicorn someday, but not holding my breath.

    Any update on this?

me neither, and honestly I'm not expecting we will anytime soon.

The fact that the zbook line shifted from EMR/Kickstand/detachable keyboard, to AES/Yoga Style doesn't give me much hope that a true successor to the zBook x2 would even retain the features we like so much about it.

Those Acer Esiel devices are probably the closest thing since they pair EMR with actual high end specs.

My zbook recently updated to Win 10 build 2004- this is several days after my daughter's laptop did and the zbook died a horrible death last night while I was drawing. On restarting I got a really loud (louder than Windows laptop speakers are normally capable of) screech and then it restarted and I was able to resume..

This happened once before on the previous OS build - hope this isn't going to be a regular thing on a zbook? My daughter's cheap laptop hasn't suffered anything similar.

    My X2 hasn't updated yet.

Seriously, pandemic or no pandemic, this is the worst upgrade cycle that Microsoft has ever (not gotten) done...!

Forgot to mention; another nVidia driver update via Windows update a couple of days ago. Installation was routine.

HP Support Assistant offered a Conexant HD Audio Driver update (440 MB !!! ), but it would not install. IIRC, I've seen this update pop up occasionally and in each case it never installs. Other than the fact that it's relatively humongous, I'm not sure what improvements it brings...
