    $5000 in 1992! I guess Samsung was expensive back then too lolz.

    Also I had no idea early Wacom EMR pens required batteries! Fascinating stuff! I wonder how well it ran Photoshop 2.0 lolz

    Wacom EMR didn't require batteries (certainly didn't on my NCR-3125) --- probably was a FinePoint or other proprietary digitizer.

    You didnt get to the part where he took it apart and found Wacom chipset?

    I'm beginning to wonder if he's just being retarded saying it requires batteries... It just looks like the pen is cracked open in the back instead of having battery cap. He also calls it registive digitizer but says it detects stylus 1cm away from screen (hovering).

    It's probably just a regular Wacom UD pen with a cracked cap in the back.
