Hi I am curious for the people here that use (or have used) the W10 YourPhone app:
Which phone are you able to use it with? And can you with your mobile run/stream Android apps through it on your W10 device?
(Note: I read that you need to disable battery optimization for the Android app since Google/Android can be quite aggressive in killing background processes.)

The official MS list is that it only supports Samsung phones (mainly Galaxy and Note, and a few A models), however on Reddit I came across people with other brands that could use it (e.g. a Pixel). So I am curious what actually works.

Ok so I tried it again with my android Nokia phone and noticed that I can get now SMS, call and notification functionality working. Photos do not sync (gives an error "Something went wrong Check that both of your devices are nearby, turned on, and connected to the same Wi-Fi network. If this problem continues, please report it." naturally I check all things related to battery background killers, battery savers, same wifi, bluetooth etc.). Running Android apps through YourPhone does seem limited to practically Samsung phones only.

So I recently could try this out with a friend Samsung phone (A50 I believe) and his laptop and here are my observations in case someone is interested:
    - streaming the app works fine though I did not try heavy stuff.
    - you cannot copy paste from or to phone apps streamed to the laptop (e.g. between a phone note app and notepad), though Samsung did mention they added this to newer phones (e.g. S20 etc.).
    - when the phone is locked it seems you cannot stream android apps (you will see a black screen in Your Phone on the laptop), I hope they fix this in the future so you could leave your phone in your pockets. Maybe Samsung Dex offers this feature?
