User LxMike has founded and ordered certain model ThinkPad x61 7767A4U, which should have the both SXGA+ and MultiTouch features according to Lenovo's official description.

However LxMike has not got his notebook yet. And there is stated many times in this forum, one can not trust any specs published at Lenovo's pages (see e.g. thread http://forum.tabletpcreview.com/showthread.php?t=8939).

So may be this model 7767A4U is something other than it seems after the description. For instance, there may be a typo, or Lenovo's "MultiTouch" implies something different, e.g. "MultiViw" in this context etc.

Can anybody confirm, that such variant MultiTouch AND SXGA+ does really exist? Has anybody seen it in real or at least got confirmation from Lenovo stuff etc.?

    P.S.
Yes, at the moment Lenovo do not allow to order SXGA+ screens at all, but I think this situation to be temporarily.

There is NO multitouch SXGA+ screen at all. It is a typo that lenovo neglected to change. Do not expect a touch screen SXGA+ when opening the box. You cannot easily use a 12.1 SXGA+ screen without mis-hitting itmes. There is no temporary situation either.

I thought the motion 1700 was both?

You're right, Toekiller. The motion Le1700wt is both.

However, I think the conversation here is restricted to Lenovo x61t (which at the moment isn't offering SXGA+, much less SXGA+ & touchscreen). Unlike SXGA+ which up until recently Lenovo offered, a touchscreen version of the SXGA+ has not been something they've so much as mentioned.

I did suspect too, that it could be a typo, but wished to get some confirmation. Why are you so sure?
And if you think, that the word "MultiTouch" in this description is typo, what is the right word have to be there instead?

It is supposed to be a Superview SXGA+ screen. Again, give it up, your friend did not get a touch screen SXGA+ screen.

Sorry, I doubt, whether it could be "Superview"...
    This description states:
Screen Type Description: WVA SXGA+ TFT MultiView and MultiTouch.

I'm not so big specialist in x61 models, but woud it be a probable combination: "WVA SXGA+ TFT MultiView and SuperView".

Could anybody investigate the matted from Lenovo?
