x41 vs. Fuji T4210

    Heck, the Fujitsu T4210 is ranked #5 in most popular here. That's actually pretty good!

    I was almost ready to buy an X41--greatly tempted by how much lighter it is than the Fujitsu--until I read this epic-length thread on tabletpcbuzz, the gist of which is "Geez, the X41 runs great if you just reinstall the operating system, which first requires creating your own set of install CDs." Which is not really my idea of fun times. Also, the X41 is known to have noise problems ("clicking" hard drive), and that's a dealbreaker for me.
