Thanks, Ah well. hopefully i'll be able to upgrade it at a later date
Just got mine delivered this afternoon and just inboxed it and finished the win setup. Looks pretty awesome imho. Beginning the windows update / load software ritual. wWill probably defer driver updates until I have more time. I'll try and do a first impressions sometime soon.
Hi jeepy, what's the latest from cc on ship date that you've heard? I haven't heard anything new other than the 5/19 date. Rob
Wow!!! Can't wait to read your impressions.
Can you please comment about the glare/reflection of the screen when you post back later?
Do you see your own reflection on the screen? Or is it minimal? Also, how about when you have a strong light source behind you, is it pretty reflective?
last I called they told me 5/12 ship date....I didn't hear anything about a 5/19 date. I hope I'm the one that's right!
Of course it's already been delayed several times so I wouldn't be surprised. I plan on checking again on Thursday.
If you haven't seen this, it may help you to form answers to your questions: x220 Tablet Infinity Glass Screen Glare
Congrats! So who long did it take to get it? I'm waffling between this and the HP 2760P. The Lenovo seems to have overall better specs for a better price but a LOT of people have the 1366x768 screen which I don't see as a big deal if the screen great all around.
Thanks for posting the link. I saw this before. From the video, it looks acceptable to me. I know it is impossible to cut out all glare/reflection completely.
I guess I was trying to get another opinion regarding the glare/reflection.
I hear ya man. My X220T hasn't shipped yet. But even if I do cancel it, I won't be getting the new HP tablet. Just like you, the screen isn't a big deal for me. The lack of digital video output on the 2760p is a deal breaker for me.
@jeepy, yeps - I hope your date comes through Cheers, Rob
