    I've just order an x201. It's due in about 4 weeks, and I'd like to have a screen protector ready and waiting for it when it arrives.

    Google suggests the Photodon clear protector is one of the better ones. On the Photodon web site, they have two sizes for the x200s...

    Lenovo - 12.1" Frameless Tablet X200 - 178 x 286mm - Crystal Clear
    Lenovo - 12.1" X200 Tablet - 164 x 262mm - Crystal Clear
    (http://www.photodon.com/c/Lenovo.html)

    Silly question... Does anyone know what size screen I just bought?

    The lenovo website had 3 different screens...

    * 12.1" WXGA LED Panel
    * 12.1" Multitouch WXGA
    * 12.1" SuperBright WXGA

    I ordered the Multitouch WXGA. Is that a frameless screen?

    I guess I could just order the larger one and trim it to size if no one knows the answer.

    Thanks,
    Frank

    I have the X201t multitouch. It definitely have a frame / bezel around it.

    I have just measured the screen size for you and can confirm that the LCD size is 164 x 262 mm.

    Yep. I read that too, after I ordered the screen protector.

    So, now that I have my tablet pc, and screen protector, I can answer my own questions...

    Size? Thanks antman0505, you were spot on. I did order the correct size. And I must say, it was so easy to install. Once I had cleaned the screen and removed the dust with a clean cloth, I got the screen protector on first try. It was like pouring paint. As the protector comes in contact with the screen it sticks and changes colour. It's like there's water between the screen and the protector. If you start from one side then gently "roll" the protector on to the screen, you'll see any air bubbles form, so you can peel it back and slowly reapply it.

    Does it work with an X201 multi-touch? Not completely. In all the reviews of other multitouch displays, they described the effect as "multitouch performance is reduced".

    I think it comes down to just needing to press harder. For example, when scrolling with multitouch, I need to press firmly and then slide my finger and it will scroll. For gestures, using flick, it is a lot harder because these are usually light fast movements. To move forward and back using a web browser, I usually end up selecting text rather than navigating. I'm sure I'll get it with more practice.

    This is my first tabletpc so for now I'll keep the protector on, until I'm comfortable with it, and I've let all my friends touch it.
