    Hi all,

I've just got the X200T with touch screen and I'm really disappointed on the screen. I've use many IBM/Lenovo laptop before but this one is really bad. Don't get me wrong the machine and features are wonderful. However, the screen is really bad. When I look at the screen it really show the uneven of the backlight. If you look from far away it looks ok but if you look at it within 2 feet and if you even roll your eye you can see the screen shadow as if you look through the thick distorted glass panel (like the old day when you have the anti-glare glass panel put in front of the CRT monitor screen.

Anyone who have the same model as mine please help me confirm this problem whether it is native by the type of the screen or it just my screen problem that I need to send back for replacement.

    Thank you very much

One thing to add I have 7449-EKU. I've try to put the anti-glare screen protector but it still not improve. Please anyone who has 7449-EKU or multi-touch lcd, please let me know what is your experience on the screen comparing to other laptop screen like T series or R series.

    thank you very much

My relative has a X200T with multi-touch as well. I took a look at it and agree that it looks horrible. PVA panel + touch layer on front is not a good combination. He ended up replacing the panel with a BOE-Hydis AFFS+ panel, and now the viewing quality is significantly improves, although he's very skilled with these kinds of stuff, so I'm not sure whether you should attempt it.
Better to just get the model without multi-touch and be done with it.

Same here. Terrible design from Lenovo.
Besides, mine got dark spots after half year of normal use. Lenovo said it was caused by "pressure".
What a joke! Touch-screen was damage by touching it?

I was just on the phone with Lenovo with DARK SPOTS also. They told me pressure and for their technicians to look at it and they decide it is pressure, i ahve to pay 135 or the fee to fix the screen.

Anyone else had this problem and fixed it?
