Now you can customize the x200 tablet to have either

    Intel® Core™ 2 Duo SU9400 (1.4GHz, 3MB L2, 800MHz) 4 [New]
    Intel® Core™ 2 Duo SL9600 (2.13GHz, 6MB L2, 1066MHz) [New]
    Intel® Core™ 2 Duo SU9600 (1.6GHz, 3MB L2, 800MHz) 4[New]

A 2.13 GHZ Intel Duo Core processor :) Now i know for sure this is what i am going to buy

    this is exciting..
and the 2.13ghz is only 50 bucks more than the 1.86
    will definitely be considering this

I wonder why the 1.6GHz costs just as much as the 2.13GHz. Isn't the 1.6GHz part of the Santa Rosa refresh while the 2.13GHz is Montevina? I guess it could come down to power absorption differences. Still I find this odd.

So are we in agreement that if you can, upgrading to the 2.1 GHz is worth it? With my college discount, this may end up being the finishing touch on this laptop...also, has anyone noticed (or am I just going crazy) that it is cheaper to get a 128GB SSD than a 160GB 5400 RPM HDD? $110 cheaper?!?!?! (at standard price)

If you're looking at getting a X200, I think the time to move on it is NOW.

Also I just noticed at standard setup the 128GB Solid State Drive, Serial ATA [subtract $110.00] well the 64GB Solid State Drive, Serial ATA [add $250.00] can someone explain to me how that makes any sense?

must be a typo on the SSD
no way in hell it could be that cheap

gd1676, the college discount may be nice
but it would probably be better to wait
and see if there's a sale that's better
since lenovo always has sales, I looked into it
and last year, you were able to get 35% off x series tablets
during the back to school sale
if that's not a deal, I don't know what is
I'm definitely going to wait until july
and I'll have my fingers crossed until then =]

not to mention there's a chance you might get a free upgrade to win7 by then..
probably not, but I can hope

Ahhh darn I'm set to finally get my x200t tomorrow with the 1.86 GHz processor, after waiting for nearly a month in delays to get the machine. Wonder if I should have it returned unopened and try to get a machine with this new processor. Wonder what the speed differences are.

Looks like the new processors are gone from Lenovo's site. As well as the 128GB SSD was marked up.
