    Graphs updated!

@hp79: I'm assuming your X230T shipped with Win7 pre-installed, so I'm only using the WPrime score....I'd rather stick with "stock" configurations. Thanks for your submission!

No problem! Thanks for keeping this post updated. I can imagine that is hard work.

Yes, my X230T shipped with Win7pro. I installed Win8 on it. I wonder, what makes this a non-stock on the OS itself?
On the hardware side, all I did is replace RAM with double size same voltage(1.35V) same speed, add added mSATA SSD.

I think I clean installed my Win7 too. I usually do this if I have time because there's a lot of stock ThinkVantage tools that I don't need. I wouldn't consider this a tweak or anything because it's essentially same as uninstalling something from the control panel. Since both Win7 and Win8 are installed by myself, my x230t might not qualify for your WEI chart then.

It is, but given that the submissions only happen sporadically, it's doable.

I avoid adding machines that have been tweaked in a way that could influence the scores. Reinstalling Windows is ok since most geeks do that anyway. The idea is to give prospect buyers of new or used Tablet PCs an approximate idea of what to expect -- performance-wise -- from their planned acquisitions before they head to a store or eBay. MS has made changes on the WEI benchmark of Win8 and I'm not sure if such changes could "skew" things in favour of Win7 or Win8, so I've decided to only graph WEI scores for machines shipped with Win8.

If you know someone that has the X230T with i7 inside, please refer him to this thread. Same applies to any machine that hasn't been listed yet, such as the Lenovo Twist.

    Thanks, kneebuster! Graphs updated.

By the way, your WEI-CPU score is low compared to other i5-based machines. Did you run the benchmarks under High Performance power profile? Perhaps you had a game or webpage open in the background...? It could be due to the specific i5 CPU you have. The other Win8 tablets that use i5 have a different flavour of that processor....

    • Fujitsu Stylistic Q702 (i5-3427U)
    • Sony Vaio Duo 11 (i5-3317U)
    • Samsung Ativ Pro 700T (i5-3317U)
    • Asus Taichi 21 (i5-3317U)

According to most sites, the 3327U is a superior processor to the 3317U and should outperform it.
