What is the easiest way to take the pen apart? I really don't want to damage it.

Unless there is somthing different about the T4220's pen that I am unaware of, you just pull the nib out with either your finger nails or a tool that came with your TPC.

Just remember: when you insert the new felt nib in, don't push it in all the way. There are still sensitive (yet still durable) electronics within the pen, push it until you feel a small "click" as it gets into place. :)
