For us Windows Tablet PC users, is there any way to get pressure sensitive Adobe tools (in Photoshop &/or Illustrator) to actually BE pressure sensitive using a Windows Tablet PC Pen on a Windows Tablet PC screen instead of using a peripheral Wacom? I own a 5 year old Toshiba Tablet running XP but someone loaned me a Lenovo running Windows 7. Thanks for your time. I tried searching this site for this topic but found no help yet.

Pressure does work in Photoshop etc. on tabletPCs, if you don't have pressure sensitivity you might have some driver problem. You did not mention the model numbers of the Toshiba and Lenovo, and as I don't know their entire series and whether they also have some tablets with Ntrig as opposed to Wacom, I will for the time being assume you have a Wacom penabled tablet at hand... Take a look at some of these links, maybe there is something in there that applies to you, or search for something like

    wacom driver pressure photoshop

in the forum search (be sure to use the forum search and not the site search box at the top of the page). I was lucky and my pressure sensitivity worked right from the start in Photoshop, so I can't give advice on which drivers are better etc.

Thanks very much for your reply. I hope I have time to explore the info you have provided. Too bad the technology requires so much research just to get these features to work as they should.
