    Hello guys!

I haven't been on here for a while... With the new of Windows 8 flying around for a while, I thought perhaps there will be a transformation pack (much like how there were vista packs for XP etc etc.)

    I bumped into Mosaic:

    Mosaic Project

It's actually very good for an alpha build. Generally, it works lot like the previews we've seen online. I'd recommend a quick try :)

Only things I've found to be problems:
    * The side bars are IMPOSSIBLE to activate without a mouse. I keep prodding the edge with my nails and it NEVER works. Such a pity as I actually think this has alot of potential
    * That thumbnail preview only works with Aero On.
    * There aren't alot of widget, but hey its an alpha :)

Perhaps the next build will fix the probs I mention (If any were to be fixed, fix the first PLEASE). I'd actually use this permanently if the bars were easier to use.

    Looks like a promising overlay.
Looks just like my WP7 UI. Will keep tracking this one, thanks for the info.

Weird, I found that I could activate the left sidebar with my pen, but not the right one. Neither could be activated by touch. I'm on a HP TM2.

I was trying about 3 different 'windows 8 ui's' without good results.
We must wait for real win8.

Has anyone else got similar Windows 8 UI overlays to share?

I tried omnimo with rainmeter, but this seems more like the real touch thing: you can scroll sidewards etc...
