    First off, This is a TX2000Z -- Not a tx2z, or 25 whatever...

Secondly, I am running Windows 7, Build 7600, 64bit (not beta)

That said, I have a few issues that I hope you guys can help me figure out. So far Google and HP have been less than helpful in this endeavor

    1. No pressure sensitivity. (Testing in Photoshop & Illustrator CS4)
    - I've tried Wacom's penabled drivers.
    - I've tried HP's drivers.
    - Could this be a CS4 issue?

    2. No fingerprint reading software.
    - HP's drivers don't do anything.
    - Drivers are installed and "up to date" according to the device manager.
    - Windows tells me that there is no software to read my fingers (This is true, where can I get this software? - Not from hp apparently)

    3. A bunch of "Unknown devices" in the device manager (Specifically a "coprocessor")
    - I have read that it has something to do with an Nvidia chipset -- does anyone have a link to this thing?

    4. No orange light when muted.
    - I'm pretty sure the realtek drivers will fix this one, I just haven't gotten around to dl'ing and installing them.

That's all I've got^, I hope someone can help me out.

I just got windows 7 today so i hope i don't run into the same problems? Did you install drivers from the hp site or let windows do it for you?

for the Fingerprint reader when I did a clean install of vista I had to Install the Fingerprint Driver first before installing the Digital Persona program. I think that with the 64bit they are separate.
    Hope this helps.

    i just installed windows 7 x64.
to get thefingerprint working i went to the hp support and drivers for thetx2000z, installed the fingerprint driver then install the digitalpersona software and then it promted me to restart. I was able to login with no problem. i'm updating right now to the windows 7 compatible versions hope it goes as smooth.

Here are some solutions I came up with for two of your problems:

    2. The fingerprint driver available for Vista on HP's site will work, but I've found that the digitalpersona software isn't entirely compatible. You can download the beta driver for the AES1610 here:

    http://www.authentec.com/win7beta64.cfm

This will install the windows 7 driver, and the TrueSuite application, which allows you to control your fingerprint reader through Biometric Devices in the Control Panel.

    4. No orange light when muted: Just head on over to Realtek's website and download their latest driver revision. It works absolutely perfectly.

Hope that helps you solve at least a couple of your problems :)

My biggest issue is the lack of pressure sensitivity...

Either way, thanks for the insight...
