    on my tx2500z, i reinstalled windows 7. ive always kept my pictures in a folder called "Pictures" in the root of my C drive, and from experience ive known that when i reinstall, all my files are saved in Windows.old

    except this time, windows.old was there, but the pictures folder wasnt in it!

    what can i do??? how can i recover these files?

    Ummm this thread is for the TM2 not TX2, the tx 1 & 2 series are riddled with issues. Sorry :( but please keep threads relevant to the topic of this area of the forum.

    @ajnoz the tx2 is a different machine from the tx1000 & tx2000 series, that said yes this post belongs in the general HP forum.

    @yellowsno
    if it was on the root of your c: drive it would still be on the root, not in the windows.old folder.

    Let me know if you do find it.
