The only driver I installed that could've changed it was the Video Driver via Windows Update.

    Anyone else experience this?

I had the same issue. When I first installed it had 16 point calibration. But a day or two later I noticed things were off and I went back to re-calibrate and it only offered 4.

Only the First calibration uses 16 point. Subsequent "patch" recalibrations are 4-point.

If you want to do the 16 point again, you have to reset your calibration data first (the other button). I found this out accidentally while going insane about how I lost my 16 point calibration.

What a dumb idea. Why would they do that? 16 point should be all the time so you always get best calibration possible.

so, anybody know what the unknow device is, or do you all have that listed as well?

Also, are there special IDE drivers to install or do you all have the long list of devices on the list?

Maybe it's the infrared sensor for the controller.

It seems that by using ccleaner I may have corrupted/busted/f** the part of the registry of win7 that deals with the reset of the calibration data.
    :(
