Hi! I just did a fresh install of Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit - I of course went to the HP website for the latest drivers. I have installed them but have the following problems:

    * Finger print device is not detected by the DigitalPersona software during installation - or after.

    * The window scroll bit to the right of the track pad works but eventually it seems to crash and I can't use the trackpad to control the mouse until after a reboot.

Anyone had similar problems or have any suggestions? Thanks!

Hey noxis, I have finger print reader problem as well after doing a windows 7 pro 64 bit install. I've installed the latest drivers from the hp website but the digital persona software does not detect the fingerprint sensor.

I hope someone has the solution to this problem.

well I just ignored the finger print reader (I don't use it)

but you should uninstall the synaptics touch pad driver.

the standard windows drivers work perfectly and the scroll bar never hangs or stops

of course for the finger print reader you should check google,
