if someone wants to read/watch more about this, this is a good video that is easy to follow but still goes into enough depth:

Does Windows 11's Start Menu already support grouping or clustering of icons? Is it known when or if MS will be adding this feature?

Likely never. That's exactly my problem with their Start Menu. I can live without Live Tiles even though I used it for the Weather and such, but app folders is a basic feature of modern OSes. They are aiming for a dumbed down beyond utility Chrome OS-stylized Start Menu for reasons defying common sense. I would instead suggest getting Start11, which has a Windows 10 Start Menu. Microsoft is just too dense and arrogant to listen until the next version of Windows.

I just tried this method. Apps that did not work for me via sideloading in ADB now work by installing them via a WSA-contained Google Play Store. In fact, everything just works. For example, an app I use that lists contact phone numbers works for phone calls. First, it will ask for permission to make phone calls. Then if I click on a phone number in the contacts, it will seamlessly start Skype. Then the native Skype app on Windows 11 will attempt to call the phone number that was passed to it from the Android app. Way cool!

Eh.. do you use your Go extensively for work? Can you live with occasional "surprises"? If so, ummm, I guess go ahead?

I would definitely look around for some "Go specific" discussion of how well-behaved Win11 is on it. The vibe is that despite the rounded corners, Win11 is a little rough around the edges. Proceed with care!

The option showed up on my Go2 as well.
Probably wise. I'll be the guinea pig—I use my Go2 for nothing but light gaming and currently only have one game on it that I barely started. I have nothing to lose but the time it'll take to install, configure, and uninstall (etc.) if it doesn't work out. I did it once before with that earliest Win11 ISO.
