, I like how smooth it already works
but hopefully more Fdroid store will be added too. Also thought it was funny a 'leak' popped up that Asus is going to make Windows tablets again, might be related to this or Windows 11.

Dare we hope to get an 8 in ARM based Windows tablet from ASUS?

, I would not count on 8" if the leak becomes true since supposedly it will come with a kickstand (so probably Surface Go or Pro clone).

We keep hearing that there are a raft of Snapdragon 7cx2 based WOA "tablets" due between now and q2 2022.

Can't go in to detail due to NDA, but there were several in the 10 inch range including "the thinnest windows tablet yet"

Of course these are not going to be high performance systems regardless.

No one has announced anything smaller than 10 inch as of yet, but when we got our briefing on the 7cx 2 chipset they were positioning it as "ideal for small portable devices in a range of sizes and form factors".

What's intriguing about that statement is that Windows 11 has significantly enhanced integrated telephony software frameworks compared to the mostly "roll your own" state of standard Windows 10.

The skeptic in me thinks that's mostly for the benefit of MS teams, but OTOH one of my engineers asked " so does that mean a phone form factor is possible? " And the answer was "certainly, though no OEM has shared plans for one with us....yet"

One final caveat, is that the supply chain issues are reeking havoc with even the big OEMS. Even apple is having product supply issues with the iPhone (especially the pros) and the standard iPad as well.

And we know of at least six devices from the other OEMS (Dell, Lenovo, HP) that have been indefinitely delayed.

    These supply chain issues suck.

Fascinating. Certainly possible to do NEO within these hardware/software frameworks.

    Thanks

I adore this misspelling! [not being grammar police, I just love how it brings up amusing imagery :D]
