Interestingly enough pinch to zoom works with the MS garage project app "plumbago".

I confirm, now trying to pinch zoom on metro apps no longer freezes the panel, that bumps up the usability quite a bit!

For windows 10 EEE slate driver information See post 445646

    Q) Is there a way to get into bios-settings and configure the poweron-indicator-LED to not blink in suspend state, or is there any other low level software utility that can change its behavior?

The B121 running Windows-10 1511 (build 10586) is by default configured to goto suspend when power button is pressed. These options can be tinkered with in StartMenu->Control-Panel->Power Options->Power profile->advanced settings.
The bright-white power indicator is located on top left when held in landscape with camera on up-side (as mentioned in page-11 Ch1 §1-3 of Manual Link labelled as LED-(2) ). The power indicator LED-(2) is preset to blink when in suspend-S3 state.
The blinking is very bright and annoying, especially at night in the dark.

    alternatives less preferred
    * setting power button to go to hibernate instead of suspend. Hibernate takes a bit longer than sleep and also takes about 4Gb of hdd-space in form of a RAM-image-file hiberfil.sys
    * put non-transparent sticky tape over the power indicator LED-(2)

    alternatives not considering
    * doing a hardware incision to disconnect power wire/cable of LED-(2) from motherboard

    any other ideas?

The S3-sleep/standby/suspend is the current norm on most devices, phones, laptops, tablets etc. The sleep state consumes very little power only to keep the RAM contents fresh, and has the least time to reload back to usability on power-on.

So. It seems that was it. My power supply just stopped working. :-(
Whatever improvements MS had up its sleeves for Windows 10 to work with the EP121 it does not matter any longer for me. Now I have to find a new hero device.

I've got my EP121 running W10 & happy enough with it.
But for W10 in Tablet mode when using the stylus & onscreen keyboard, the default is to start in the writing mode...
...can't find any settings to have the onscreen keyboard be the opening default?

Anyone know of a way to change this behavior?
Guessing it'll be a Registry hack, but unsure where or what to look for??

They do for me. Try to force the reinstall of the sensor driver, this happens when there's only the fake driver and not the the executable parts (that do all the actual work).

So did anybody get Wacom pressure sensitivity to work on the EP121 in Windows 10? I just upgraded and Wacom drivers for W10 keep saying "a supported tablet not found." In a concept artist and this could be a big problem.

Anyone get a driver that works?
