Are you comparing with a fresh Win10 install? Because even pretty "clean" installs still seem to slow down a bit over time.

, did not know the performance difference was so big with loading new programs, that is very interesting. Relating to the video, I like how smooth those gestures are.

I'm curious how you got Office on 10X, I wouldn't think it'd work without the Win32 support (and I haven't seen it or been able to install it on the builds I've been messing around with).

Dubious source:) Basically we got a build of 10x from one of our supply chain partners that had office integrated in to the build.

It's definitely buggy, and likely not blessed by MS. We've heard that "official" test builds of O365 for 10x are imminent.

Been toying with the idea of installing 10x on my decomissioned SP3 i3 version. But from the warning , I'd better not.

@nnthemperor If you have a spare machine and are willing to put up with a significant number of bugs and incompatibilities right now, you might want to give it a try.

In terms of changes to UI and core functionality, it's on track to be the biggest jump (and maybe as important) as Windows 7

PS: at the present time, don't even consider it, if you use Adobe apps.
