Will the TX1000 ship with a core 2 duo?

    I don't particularly like the Turion ( 90 nm manufacturing process, runs hotter, less transistors, etc. )... the only really good thing about it is the integrated memory controller but it still does not make up for its defencies.

    Does anyone know if/ when HP will sell the TX1000 series with a core 2 duo?

    If you look at their other mainstream notebooks (DV2000, DV6000, DV9000) you'll see that there's a trend there.

    Each series has a T and a Z version. We won't know when until there's an announcement or leak.

    That answers my question. I was basically wondering if there was a leak or if anyone had heard anything. Ugh I don't know what to do.
