I'd like to get a 2gb card as a backup (that I can also use for my camera :) ), but some folks say their card readers don't read them. I know that the 4gb have gone to sdhc format, so my R1 may not read that big a card.

So...anyone out there know for sure if the R1 will read something like the sandisk 2gb ultra?

I use a 2 GB SD for backup right now and it seems to work fine. It is a Kingston 2 GB SD card from a few months ago, so its relatively new. I don't know if 4 GB cards will work, I don't have any handy at the moment.

I'm using a 2GB SD card for readyboost. It works fine.

Please feel free to send me a 4GB SD so I may evaluate it for you :)

Hahahaha! :) Thanks for the "offer".

Thanks for the information both of you. I've ordered the 2gb card since it appears that it'll work with no problem. Since the 4gb cards it's unknown if they'll work...and they're so pricey, I'll wait before considering one of them.
