As above, will changing the HDD that came with the Fujitsu Tablet PC (e.g. T2010) void the warranty? If the unit should spoil sometime during the warranty period, will I need to install back the old HDD before RMAing it?

it shouldnt void your warranty. but keep your orginal hard drive just to be safe.

It shouldn't void your warranty. However, I believe that any damage that is ascertained to be caused by a non-stock components (e.g. if your new hard drive overheats for some reason and damages some components) will not be covered under the warranty. This is unlikely to happen anyway, but it's good to be aware.

I would also advise keeping the stock components, and swapping them back in before sending to Fujitsu for any servicing, if the need arises.

great advise. tech support asks for stock parts to be installed prior to shipping.
