I've been using my R1F for about a year now and I've had a problem with the Wireless connection cutting out randomly. It's been annoying, but I've coped wih the LAN connection. But I've recently had to rely on the WIFI, and it's been very annoying. The Wireless connection would be fine and dandy for one minute, but then suddenly cut out. The only way of getting it back is to restart the system.

Has anyone had the same probem?

I know what you mean--annoying isnt it? Fortunately, I've come across this problem countless times in my previous workplace. The solution is to go into device manager->network adapter->{your network adapter}> properties->Power tab. Make sure that none of the boxes are checked--these are settings that turn off the wireless device. When laptops go on standby, the WIFI and its settings get messed up when returning from standby. The downside to this solution is that the battery drain is slightly increased since it has to keep the WIFI on.

Ah, thank you for that. I'll give it a try. Hopefully it'll work. :)
