Which ram for T5010?

    Yes, 1GB would be just too low for Vista. Win7 will run better with that amount of memory. What you need is DDR3. If you go to specific sites like Crucial and enter the model number, they would provide you with the type of memory you want.

    I checked it came to 93usd for a PC3-8500 DDR3-1066 or 95usd for PC3-10600 DDR-1333

    Is latter one faster?

    I am not a memory aficionado but I think that these numbers represent the speed of the memory bus for these modules. I think that the memory speed of the T5010 is 1066 MHz, so a higher speed rated memory would be overkill.
