Which 4 gig RAM from Crucial?

    wow thanks. but i don't think i am ready for 64 bit.. also 4 gb is going to be fast..

    right now i have MATLAB = engineering tool software installed which is know to be load on computer and my computer runs fine..

    although more ram wouldn't hurt.. so i want to get 2gb right now since 4gb/2/2 is like 80$.. some.. kind of short on cash but will wait for the winter sell and see if i can find some on net for 50$/4gb heh el chipo

    just checked on new egg and found

    CORSAIR ValueSelect 2GB 200-Pin DDR2 SO-DIMM DDR2 667 (PC2 5300) Laptop Memory Model VS2GSDS667D2 - Retail

    4GB - 60$ - Shipped.. also found other brand for 40$ /rebate thing

    i will wait 1 month see if i get some deal.

    Search around for deals, I picked up an OCZ 2GB DDR2-667 stick for $20. Just go for the cheapest memory from a big brand (ie. Crucial, Corsair, OCZ, Geil, G. Skill, Kingston, etc.) Timings and speed don't matter at all.
