What the heck happened to the delicious looking Asus tablet from CES! I thought it was to be released in March, and its April with no word. I'll probably get an x60t, but if thats not out by the time college starts for me, Asus was my plan B, build quality is important to me.

Think summer release for this one. They certainly got us all excited a bit too early.

Thanks for the response Barry. Do ya think early or late summer? Big difference for me as I probably need my tablet by July 1st.

Does the Asus have dedicated graphics?
The m400 disapointed, and both the 60t from lenovo and 4400 from hp are intel graphic (for now at least).
I do a lot of 3d graphics work and multitasking so I need CoreDuo + Nvidia + Tablet. When can we expect machines with this combination?

Thought you guys might like to know, I actually called Asus today asking this very question. Their answer?

"The R1 series is shooting for a June/July release. As for dedicated graphcs, we honestly don't know yet."

Thanks for the heads up wolf. Actually, I hope integrated graphics are atleast an option on it, as I value battery life alot and rarely play PC games.

Soul, I think the full name of the new tablet is the R1F (wasn't that what was on the little board in front of it at CES?).
