Maybe I'm blind, but I can't see it.

Also, are there better/more recent drivers available from wacom.com?

There is an enhanced tablet driver for most tablets, except for the R1, on the R1, it causes my cursor to almost quiver when I place my pen near the screen, whereas, normaly it does not. It's like it's too sensitive.

As for the driver name, I think it's the two HID-compliant devices under Mice and other pointing devices, but not sure because the BT mouse is one of them and the tablet pointer the other.

Look under Human Interface Devices. It's the bottom one in the list called Wacom Penabled HID MiniDriver.

Interestingly enough, I just see HID device, no wacom device, is this an oddity unique to R1s maybe?

Well I never found anything contrary to the HID driver.

As to the other thread you mention, on my T4210 my driver details are version 2.5.0.0
There's no reason to suspect it should be any different for the R1F I would have thought.

Browsing about on Wacom's site, I'm pretty sure the tablet is not "Wacom Penabled". Which is why wacom drivers don't work.
Asus isn't even listed as a Penabled partner... So I'm really curious as to which driver scribbler used.
In any case, it's moot for me, just updated my R1F Bios to 3.05, and... boom!! No USB root hub!! That means, no tablet!!! Which confirms by the way the fact that it's a USB device, while many other tablet tablets are on the serial bus.
now I'm angry!! I really like this tablet PC, it's sweet! But right now it's turned into a mediocre regular Laptop!

You need to reset the BIOS to default after applying the 305 update. Things will be fine then.
