Here is the tablet I'm about to buy: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16834110283

I know it has 1GB of DD22 667 RAM but I'm looking for the actual RAM setup, is it 2x512mb sticks and what can we go up to. Is it possible to expand up to 4gb (2x2GB sticks). Anyone with any insight on this, let me know. Thanks a lot!

    Hi Nick119,

1GB SODIMM DDR2 RAM for the T4220 comes with either: 512MB x 2 or 1GB x1. Yes, it is possible to expand up to 4GB, however the only limitation is if the OS in question can support all 4GB (e.g. Windows XP/Vista 32-bit supports 3.2-3.5GB out of 4.0GB).

However, for FPCM11068, it's 1GB x 1. The model is listed at Fujitsu's store as well ($2,119, first model): http://store.shopfujitsu.com/fpc/Ecommerce/buildseriesbean.do?series=T4220

Newegg also has plenty of RAM modules but Fujitsu machines tend to get a little picky when it comes to RAM. So far, crucial and OCZ seem to play well, I've read one report of a mishap with Geil (but the poster didn't state which module they bought specifically, so it could be user error).

Kingston is usually on the top of compatibility lists, as it seems they cater so a wide range of manufacturers, but I can't say myself whether they work or not.
