What tablet PC for MedSchool

    So i need your help guys, my R1F died after lights went off, so here i'm i need to get a new tablet, would love sth portable, been thinking in the S7Slate, but god my budget is realy low. I was thinking about getting the Lenovo Thinkpad tablet wich is N-trig but still have some doubts about it, can you realy rest your palm there??? ok thanks for the answers and advice.

    Tablet (im considering Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet 1838) or Windows Tablet ( I would prefer this one)
    4. What size Tablet PC would you prefer?
    above 10" still doubts about is it better 1280 x 800 in a 12" screen or 1360 x 768 on smaller screen?

    5. Which country do you intent to purchase from [where do you live]?
    USA, Canda, IDK ebay :S i live in central america so place i can order to my DHL account

    6. Do you have any preferences to brand loyalty or dislikes?
    Asus, Samsung, Lenovo, but open to other sugestions

    7. How many hours battery life do you require?
    5 Hrs or mor

    8. What will be the primary usage scenario of this tablet? (Email/Web Surfing/Drawing/Word Processing/Entertainment/Notetaking etc)
    Handwriten notes, patien follow up, reading 500 MB PDF, highlighting them, and handwritten notes on them

    9. Do you have an OS preference? For example, do you own an iPhone and a Mac, or are you a Windows fan? Do you own an Android device and use Google services frequently?

    I would love a hackingtosh lol, then again Windows is ok for me, Journal works just fine. Ubuntu its ok as long as i can read and ink my PDF


    10. What software and tasks do you intend to run? (Microsoft Office or other Word Processing Suite/Photoshop/3D Studio Max/Autocad etc)

    MS Office, Note taking app like journal. PDF editing software

    12. Would you like to stream content through your home theater system?

    yes but it's not that important

    bigger the better, if you can take it outdoors best

    1. Any preference on screen resolution?
    Retina display, or something good enought for reading

    2. Will you be using the tablet outdoors? Do you need to be able to see it through glare from the sun?

    1. What size Hard Drive and Memory do you require? Would you like expandable memory?
    At least 64 GB

    2. What sort of inputs do you require, if any? Would you like full-sized USB and SD card slots? Are microUSB and microSD ok? Do you require HDMI inputs?

    With your budget, if you can find a refurbished or left-over Windows 7, Fujitsu Q552, I would go with that. The dual core Atom is probably the best of the Pre-W8 devices. It is portable, has decent battery power and the Display is great. I am not a big fan of N-Trig, but in Auto mode, you can write with your palm on the display with no problem. If you're going with an Android tablet, the Galaxy note would be my choice in your budget range.

    What about Samsung Slate series 7 ??? on ebay??

    If you can find one in your price range, it's a great device. The did have a display lifting issue and battery life is less than optimal but the I5 power is a great feature.

    S7S bidding failed lol, Been thinking more in the Galaxy Note 10.1, so question would be, screen size difference matters? can you have sth like windows journal and export to windows? and What about the ATIV smart PC??? is the new atom faster than Exynos Quad core??
