warranty

    i am considering buying refurbished m205-810 and wanted to know if ther is a company i could buy an exteded warrany from or could i take it in to compusa and buy one from them.

    If the place you buy it from doesn't offer one, I don't know of anyone else that offers coverage on refurbs. You might also try Toshiba directly.

    toshiba said i could by a 1 or 3 yr accidental damage plan on it, but manufacturer defects are only covered for the first 90 days and cant be extended. Does this make sense? Should i just drop it if something stops working?

    That sounds weird, parts are certainly covered for a year. As far as damaging it yourself, we can't exactly encourage you to commit a crime, but the end result would be beneficial to you for sure.
