    Different touch grids/panels need a different flavour of es field from the pen for it to be recognized properly or it'll work poorly.

    Do you have a link or any resource explaining this type of pen?

    If the digitizer "thinks" the pen is a finger, it shouldn't require any sort of frequency. The frequency specification is for the active pen signal...or that is my understanding at least. :vbconfused:

    Sorry, I fear I don't have any.
    Consider it's a topic that was in fashion for ipad/procreate users something like three years ago so I completely lost interest in it when the iPad pro came out.

    ...only 2hrs battery life...whatever algorithm they are using to emulate touch is even more energy-intensive than AES!

    I didn't watch the review but only two hours seems as bit strange: these kind of styluses usually lasts around 12-15 hours of continuous use before needing a recharge. o_O
