I whipped up a quick size comparison for you guys.

    These are overall body dimensions:
    • Blue - Surface Pro 4 (292.10 x 201.42 x 8.45 mm @ 0.766 kg)
    • Purple - VAIO Z Canvas (301 × 213 × 13.65 mm @ 1.21 kg)
    • Gray - MobileStudio Pro 13 (367 x 229 x 16 mm @ 1.32 kg)
    • Pink - MobileStudio Pro 16 (418 x 262 x 19 mm @ 2.08kg)
    And for comparison purposes:
    • Green Outline - MSI GT62VR (390 x 266 x 40 mm @ 2.922 kg)

So with the MSP16, you'd be lugging around something comparable to a large, 15" gaming laptop.

Yesssss! 15.6" and 4k! at last!

DarkM - I assume that the wacom link thing /is/ cintiq mode.

I couldn't process the whole spec list because I was grinning too hard - is this def an EMR machine or is this the advanced AES?

That's my assumption as well....however that being the case I don't appreciate that they are charging extra for that feature.

I'm fairly fairly fairly certain its EMR.....I think it says that somewhere in the specs

More like 16/17 inch gaming rig. The MSP16 has another nearly a whole another inch to it over the GT62VR.

Hell all my laptop bags can barley fit the my CC2.....I'd hate to lug the MS16 around.

yeah, after my initial elation died down I can see
from the specs sheet that the pen is listed as cordless and battery free, so EMR.

LOL, I read something completely different... :D

Well, we have to do a bit of give and take here because the MSP16 is only 2kg, which is quite light given its large footprint.

But I do share your misgivings...you have to wonder, what drives Wacom industrial design?

For the CC2, it's like they took only one feedback to heart, "gives us Cintiq mode!"

Then for the MSP, it's like they only listened to the "give us a large display/dGPU!" crowd.

What about the people who wanted a 3:2, smaller-bezel design? Surely they could have made at least the MSP13 a little smaller.

Man, how would that lower 16" run without the Nvidia GPU? Lag city maybe.
