Can any of you guys who have already updated to Windows 8.1 test if the half-second dropout of sound when streaming music from the internet (YouTube) and playing it over Bluetooth (the dropout interval is exactly every 2.03 min), is fixed with the update, please.

Nooooo, I'm talking about an actual memory leak of the drivers here! "Non-paged pool" under Task Manager's RAM page continues growing and growing and growing. You can't kill any processes to reduce it. Eventually, you're out of RAM and the page file starts handling EVERYTHING because the RAM is clogged with useless data. The page file is not very effective when the max speed of the flash drive is like 25MB/s. Windows is very good at managing RAM, it will always kill background apps rather than depending on the page file.

Yes. Mine sure seems to have to be recharged more frequently.

I haven't recognised any battery issue so far.
I have installed one larger (10MB) Windows 8.1 Update on my tablet, which also required a reboot of my device. Has anyone already tried to restore the recent graphics driver after installing these updates? If yes, please let us know wether the problems after coming from sleep mode are gone.

I RECOMMEND NOT TO INSTALL TODAYS UPDATES:

I did it and hat some problems with the screen after loging in after a restart. There was also a problem coming up with the Wifi. I uninstalled the update but the issue was stillt there. So I tried to restore to a system restore point...and it stillt stuck there...

    Any ideas?

EDIT1: Restoring is done. Wifi works properly again. Looks like we have to be very carefull before doing any windows 8.1 updates :(

Could you be specific about what problems you encountered with the update. And did you have the older graphic driver installed when you installed this new update. Thanks @schwarz86

I somehow figured out that my Wifi problem still exists after restoring.
I now checked the properties of my Broadcom Wifi Adapter and found out that all my configurations, e.g. Afterburner, were gone after installing to 8.1.

I will now wait and see what happens and maybe install the update once again.

I will let you know if something new comes up
