i will follow you. Mine stopped to work again, and i did not succeed to revive it.

how long was the delay to have it again?
are you sure that it is yours, and not a new one?

    Same happened to me :(

For a while I have had the issue that the pen would stop working after sleep. I2C Device would show faulty in the device manager and sometimes disabling and re-enabling would fix it. Otherwise a quick restart and it was back. I had hoped that an update would come along and fix the issue...

Now no amount of restarts will return the pen and the device manager shows I2C Device as faulty - no amount of updates or disabling/re-enabling will fix it :(

Oh well, time to put in a support request.

After ten full shutdown and cold start since yesterday evening, the pen revived this morning at 10 am.
I have ordered a second 64G, but it is out of stock in Germany.
The first one will go to support when the second will arrive.

And that would be me, thanks you. I don't know if the firmware upgrade would have revived the stylus input on my AVN8, because I got it already back from RMA. But after I applied the FW upgrade, it seems that the stylus' "jumpiness" on corners (registering strokes when the pen tip wasn't even on the screen) is gone after the upgrade. The corners are still "rough" but I can live with that.

    Regards

Today it arrived from rma, but after half an hour pen stopped working... On the Repair Report ist written that they just reinstalled/reseted the software. So it´s no wonder, the same did I before the support said to me i should send it in. Lets see what they say after weekend

    Wow, that's pretty crappy =(

Sounds like return and rebuy is probably the safest bet for those in their return windows.

Hey, sorry it did not help you, but it did help me with pressure sensitivity problems with the edges. Asus support has been lamely trying to get this to me. Thank you!
