    Hello there all

I'm in the market for a Wacom tablet. I noticed that the Note 8 has been discontinued (expansys, amazon don't carry it anymore). I wonder if anybody came across any news concerning a new Asus Wacom device coming to market.

    Thank you in advance

I hope so. An 8" Windows 10 tablet would be swank. Also I guess this answers my "should I attempt to own another Note 8" question.

EDIT: Am not sure what you're talking about Amazon not carrying the tablet.

It looks like in the asus tablet range, the intended follow-up is represented by the t90/t100 Chi. But sadly they only have Synaptics pen, and there's is little hope for a Cherry Trail Wacom part

At this point, I'll just settle for a pen that actually works for more than a month.

    It's Wacom AES.

    Oh thanks for claryfing.
I see you got the 10 inch one, How does AES compare to EMR?

Con: Needs a battery, lower hover distance, slippery pen (wrapped mine in blue painter's tape), tip is spring-loaded and pushes in ever so slightly, no eraser, no narrow version to fit in silo as a backup

Pro: Much better tracking and no jitter at edges

Actyally hover distance and spring loaded tip might be dealbreakers for me.
I saw a clip on youtube where the hover distance in VN8 was around two thirds of a inch. Do you feel it's much lower than that on AES?
And I wonder if the tip coul be fixed.
    Again thanks.
