Great news! After Some "babelfish" translation, I found Vista RC2 drivers for the R1F that enable hardware buttons and Wireless Console 2 --- WLAN is now working nicely in Vista!:)
the R1F with 2 GB of RAM is incredibly fast under Vista Rc2; way faster than under XP...
Here is the link to these drivers:

you'll need to download and install the Atk0100 driver first; then Wireless Console. -- Good luck!

    1. So does the Rf1 work very fast using the aero theme in Vista?

    2. Will there be a Vista Tablet Edition?

    3. I have heard that there are ripple effects, like digital effects to emulate water ripples when u tap the pen on the tablet, sounds sort of cool.. ??

    Thanks alot

    1. yes!

    2. Vista natively include Tablet functions (versions above the home edition I think)

    3. When you hover the pen above the screen, the cursor is a small dot ; when you tap, circular ripples spread around the cursor, but nothing fancy like "water effects" I just a series of circles...

    1. agree again, it's very fast. boots a lot faster also

    2. correct, you'll get windows journal and "pen flick"...pretty much all the support for tablet functions.

    3. the ripple effect you can turn off if you don't like it. but I think it has it's novelty

Pyxus, thank you so much for finding this!!
now we wont have to wait for a new driver =)

    1. I have experienced no lag...and it boots faster for me too

    2. yup

    3. I like the ripples..they are useful for differentiating between a single tap and a double tap...and knowing when u've actually clicked..it doesn't get in the way at all..so i dunno why you wouldn't want it on
